The Sagamore has a lot of family-friendly activities that kept my kids entertained, and the stunning views of the lake made it a visually enjoyable stay. However, I was quite disappointed with the service during our visit, especially given the prices we paid. The lack of organization and cleanliness in some areas detracted from our overall experience. While there's great potential for fun, it felt overwhelming at times, particularly with so many unsupervised children around.

The room was okay, but not very fancy. Our view was limited, and it felt quite small for a suite.

The Sagamore is a lovely resort with a wealth of activities for families, and the stunning views add to the charm. Our stay was enjoyable, but a few inconveniences, like delays during check-in and some noise disturbances, took away from the experience. Overall, the outdoor amenities and family-focused activities were highlights, but the pricing felt a bit steep for the value received.

The Sagamore offers stunning views of Lake George and plenty of activities for families, but the service can be hit or miss, especially during peak times. The accommodations, while spacious, could use some updates and thorough cleaning to really match the luxury price tag.

Rooms
5.0
The room we stayed in was quite outdated and had an unpleasant musty smell. It definitely could have been cleaner, as it felt more like a standard hotel room rather than a luxury suite.
Service

The service was well-meaning but often felt overwhelmed, particularly in busier dining times. More attention to guests would greatly enhance the experience.

Our family had high hopes for our stay at the Sagamore, given its beautiful setting and family-friendly activities. We loved the views and the breakfast buffet, but encountered numerous challenges with reservations, dining service, and maintenance issues. While we appreciated the spacious accommodations, problems with air conditioning and limited lake access marred our experience. It was a mixed bag overall, with both enjoyable moments and frustrating encounters.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were spacious with well-stocked kitchen facilities, but both condos had air conditioning issues that made our stay uncomfortable at times.
Service
5.0
Service fluctuated throughout our visit; while some staff were responsive, we often faced long waits and conflicting information from different team members.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated between the lake and beautiful surroundings, although access to swimming was limited during our stay.
Dining
6.0
Dining was a highlight at breakfast, but our dinner service was frustratingly slow, leading to disappointment with meal quality.
Facilities
7.0
The recreational facilities, particularly for kids, were great, but we wished for better staffing and organization in activities.

The Sagamore offers a diverse range of activities, especially for kids, and the outdoor pool is truly a gem with stunning views. However, my experience was marred by outdated room conditions and frustratingly slow service in the dining options. Although the setting is picturesque, the price doesn't reflect the quality I expected based on the resort's reputation.

Rooms
5.0
My room was disappointing and felt outdated, lacking the superior quality I anticipated. The carpet was old, and the furniture didn’t match the resort's overall luxurious reputation.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were attentive, the overall service in the dining areas was very slow and untrained, which was quite frustrating.
Location
9.0
The location is beautiful, with access to lake activities and outdoor spaces that enhance the stay, making it pleasant for leisure.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown due to the slow service, with meals taking far too long to be served, even though the food quality was acceptable.
Facilities
8.0
The recreational facilities for both kids and adults are excellent, providing a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained.
